I finally decided to jump on the Breaking Bad bandwagon after hearing so much good of this show - including the astonishing rate of 9,4 at IMDB - and as always, with every TV series or movie, it's the same old routine; after looking at the same face for many hours, I have to go get it out of my system afterwards. This time was no exception.

Done with pen/markers on paper.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08296235627400162284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-828171593904356189.post-9653388322719276232013-09-28T00:55:00.003+02:002013-09-28T00:55:59.398+02:00Mallard (Wild Duck)

With the use of Adobe Illustrator's possibilities, I chose to extend this small project to portray myself for every team I've played for since I was 18 years old. A minimalistic take on Daft Punk's album cover to Random Access Memories. The minimalistic movement focused on using as few elements as possible and still maintain the essence of what was being portraied. In this, I've used six elements (seven with the black background), but I could probably remove the white reflection elements and get down to only four.
What was supposed to be "quick work" after a great couple of sketches, ended up being much more complicated in the process of work in Illustrator. I'm still not satisfied with Thomas Bangalter's helmet (left), but I'm tired of this drawing by now and refuse to do anything else than just put it out there now. I simply cannot do anymore - I've tweaked on that helmet so incredibly much.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08296235627400162284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-828171593904356189.post-51988361925055626602013-07-02T12:55:00.000+02:002013-07-02T12:56:35.249+02:00Pride and Prejudice

Now as I've finally bought myself a new and decent computer, I've decided to give Adobe Illustrator a go to colour/finish off my hundreds of rather geometrical portraits. This drawing is the very first one I've done completely in Illustrator. It sure took me a lot of time to do, but it has given me a lot of necessary experience.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08296235627400162284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-828171593904356189.post-68621544623686232012013-05-01T21:24:00.002+02:002013-05-01T21:24:15.274+02:00Henrik Bjørnson

An illustration from Garmann, a play sat up by third year of drama teacher class at my university, based upon Norwegian children's books with the same name.

I went to see the play twice, and as I've made friends with many of these students this year, I've had the great opportunity to fullfil my long lasting idea of drawing them as the characters from this play. All in all, I'm proud how I managed to make the drawing childish enough to match the children's books theme.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08296235627400162284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-828171593904356189.post-40368715379265693082013-04-26T01:00:00.002+02:002013-04-26T01:00:46.549+02:00Reggie Watts

Musician/comedian Reggie Watts.

He's such a character, but still difficult to catch. At least for me. I'm not quite satisfied with this.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08296235627400162284noreply@blogger.com2
